Libertia peregrinans is a perennial. It grows to 2' high, and 1' wide. Narrow, stiffly erect, olive green leaves have an orange to brownish orange center stripe. There are branching clusters of inch-wide flowers on stems shorter than leaves.

This evergreen ground cover needs full sun to light shade. It grows to 3" tall, forming a dense, thick mat. It needs well-drained, light soil. Creeping Thyme is considered drought tolerant. The foliage is dark green and slightly hairy. It has a pleasant, minty fragrance when crushed, though not considered for culinary uses. Flowers are lilac purple and bloom in the summer. It attracts bees and butterflies.

This medium sized, mounding evergreen shrub with lustrous yellow green foliage produces new growth that is tinted rosy red. It has a growth habit that is loose, graceful and spreading.
