This shrub tolerates sun, light shade, little water, and is hardy to 15 degrees F. The Mexican Sage is drought tolerant and attracts hummingbirds.

Its gray foliage makes a good bank, slope or ground cover plant. It will also make a good looking, manicured border plant. It is drought tolerant and needs full sun to light shade.
