This shrub will reach 12' tall and has medium sized, glossy green leaves with white flowers that bloom in the summer.

Wisteria

Common name:Wisteria
Botanical name:Wisteria sinensis

While the sinensis is similar to the floribunda, it bears more rounded, full clusters of strongly fragrant flowers which open more or less, all at once. Mother-of-Thyme, Creeping Thyme

Common name:Mother-of-Thyme, Creeping Thyme
Botanical name:Thymus serpyllum

This evergreen ground cover needs full sun to light shade. It grows to 3" tall, forming a dense, thick mat. It needs well-drained, light soil. Creeping Thyme is considered drought tolerant. The foliage is dark green and slightly hairy. It has a pleasant, minty fragrance when crushed, though not considered for culinary uses. Flowers are lilac purple and bloom in the summer. It attracts bees and butterflies.

Foxglove

Common name:Foxglove
Botanical name:Digitalis purpurea

This biennial foxglove will reach up to 4' when blooming in the early summer. The large spire of huge, bell-shaped flowers ranges from purple to pink to cream with purple specks. Large, textured leaves form an attractive rosette until bloom time. The plant likes a moist, filtered-sun area similar to the Lobelias and Columbines.
